An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Product Manager to join our team.
We are looking for a Product Manager who will be pivotal to implementing change and moving the business forward. The Product Manager will introduce a more commercial and proactive approach to product development and will be the first core Product Manager appointed within the organisation.
Having ownership over the product lifecycle and the full product portfolio you will be working closely with the Product Development team and be responsible for driving insight and research behind this product development. You will also be instrumental in bridging the gap between product development and marketing as well as the sales and commercial departments.
As Product Manager you will have a lot of autonomy and responsibility so you will need to be driven and self assured in your ability. There will be a certain amount of travel between two of the company’s sites and you will also be expected to support and attend customer meetings where necessary.
You must have the following skills and experience:
• A background in product management working within a structured product lifecycle environment.
• Experience working with tangible products, ideally within the retail and manufacturing channels.
• Excellent communicator with experience dealing with various people at a cross functional level and the ability to build strong working relationships.
• Confident in your ability and able to make recommendations and help to shape and develop the product management framework on the business.
